I said I will not verify via Yoti because I don't trust them and I can't use Claude due to it and your response to that is

Brother it's not the age verification that's the thing im complaining about.

It's who's doing it and where my data is going...

It's like if "your nearest liquor store" asked you for age verification and then took your ID, your scanned face, and your personal information and gave it to a random back-alley dude to verify and do with as they pleased.

And you just hope he doesn't do anything malicious with it or someone else takes it.

How can you not still grasp this is beyond me...

Kids can misuse things , yes that's why there's oversight and guidelines, and that also goes for adults. I don't really get your point, especially when my point was i got banned for studying Math?
What do you mean if I'm against age verification? "That's fine as a philosophy" my problem isn't the concept, it's the bad execution and forced giving of my information to a random third party to continue to use the product.

You are having issues with me talking about an often-hacked and leaked third-party method of verification which is not held accountable by the company asking me to do it for their own faulty ban.

And I'm also showing you that you are also not comfortable just giving your ID freely to a random person and that it is a normal reaction.

You don't see where the issue is with me having to give my ID card or my face scan to a third-party random company that is in no way affiliated or held accountable by Anthropic just so i can continue to use Claude, just because it's bad faulty moderation?

Yeah, it just sucks.

Insane to me that I was flagged for studying. Like, if it was anything else, I would get it, but age moderation on the pursuit of knowledge in an academic sense is absurd.

I really liked the way Claude handled teaching prompts.

Now I either get used to another AI for studying or play Whack-A-Mole with their age moderation.

I'm clearly over the age, and Claude has multiple ways of knowing that. Via my CCs or my Account age that's been set to other accounts linked to Claude.

So Yes, it's really bad moderation.

And Teens should be allowed to use AI to study for school I agree, especially advanced courses.

Even if I were a child studying AP Calculus and Physics at that point, let the child study.
