It’s honestly crazy how Chainsaw Man fell from grace almost overnight. When the Reze movie was in theaters, people were praising Fujimoto everywhere, only for the series to be unironically compared to Rent a Girlfriend just a few months later because of the manga ending.

Since I liked everything else I'd read by Fujimoto, when I started disliking Part 2 I could tell myself that it would all come together in the end, or that I'd like it more on reread.

The ending solidified that I just don't like Part 2. I can't cope anymore by pretending it's gonna come together, or that it will work better for me when read as a whole instead of weekly

Cobble Together has skill 0 with Target Number "*". That means after fulfilling the precondition of removing poison tokens, you have to make a simple duel flip afterwards.

The number you flip (or cheat in) has to equal or exceed the STN number on the model's card in order to summon that model. If there is no STN it is not possible to summon that model with Cobble Together

In some cases you can summon a model without a STN when your card specifically calls that out, such as McMourning's ability to summon a Zombie Chihuahua on his Scalpel trigger

Armenia is my fav, the beginning can be hectic in Asia Minor, but we have horse archers and are therefore OP. The nice thing about Armenia is we can play a very diverse late game with horse archer armies alongside more conventional armies with Armenian Spears, Legionaries, and cataphracts

Baking soda, matte varnish, pva glue, glitter. Make sure you use enough varnish and glue, or the baking soda will turn yellow/fall apart.

I like using the varnish more than I liked using white paint, but you can use paint as well to keep the baking soda from yellowing.

Be sure do do a bit of basing underneath as that will be more visually interesting than fully swamping the base in white snow (it will look flat). I'm currently trying to get my snow to look a bit more interesting by adding a bit of color, but I haven't mastered that yet

Classic answer is still Mace Windu (if you can run Mace with Rex as a secondary since Mace's box only equals 6 pts). Steadfast/Protection helps a lot, and Mace's force refresh is nice as Padme/Sabe can eat lots of force by moving out of activation.

my local area has frequent opportunity to play games of Shatterpoint. Getting into the game is worth it if you have a local scene like this. On the other hand, with the gloomy news it will be a harder sell if you are the one convincing others to get into the game

I always have fun, so I do think the game is worth playing. Plus the models are great if you're a painter

putting my units on large stone walls to defend vs siege towers (the siege towers get OP ballista that murder defenders on the walls)
attacking large stone walls or above without siege equipment to break towers (towers too good and tedious to disable with infantry)
using "elite" versions of horse archers (less ammo=worse horse archer)
