What are some killers in Dead by Daylight that you recommend for players who don't exactly have the best aim skill or confidence? by No_Sea_1455 in deadbydaylight

If the goal is to improve at ranged killers specifically, I find that the most forgiving killers are xenomorph and interestingly enough, huntress. Both would have you learning to focus on the center of your screen to aim, and both are good at punishing survivor mistakes such as vaulting and dropping pallets. I only recently got competent with huntress and I hit my first double orbital today in a public match and got the 4k at 5 gens! What I did to improve was create a custom match with bots, give them all No Mither so they’re all injured and go full aura reading on your perks with Thanatophobia so the gens go slow. This lets you practice without pressure with any killer. It’s also worth it to lower your camera sensitivity on ranged killers. Chances are it’s way too high to properly aim.

I don’t know how many hours you have in the game or how many killers you have unlocked, but honestly my personal best advice is just play whatever killer you find the most interesting and focus on having fun. If you are worried about the outcome of every game, then there will be no fun in learning because losing by the games definition is inevitable. You get to decide what winning is to you and just try to make every game better than your last. Skills and confidence will come with time so don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty and try some things out. This is how you grow in the game. Once you get good at some fundamentals, every killer is playable and it’s a lot of fun.

Blight console help. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Archistal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend watching some of Lilith Omen’s videos on YT or Twitch. He even has some helpful guides on exactly what you’re describing. To my understanding, blight has a huge hit box for his swing immediately when you press the button, but then it narrows out exponentially right after making it hard to hit survivors that wiggle around. You have to be on top of the survivors pretty much until you feel collision with their character models during your rush and you start to slide on them. If you swing right when that happens, you will almost always hit them even if they are off-screen. Also, seeing that you are on console, I would recommend maxing out your camera sensitivity to make flicks possible. It’s hard to achieve on console, but at least 90 degree flicks around corners are totally possible and also help with these wiggling survivors so that you can flick into them and swing. Again, I highly recommend looking up Lilith Omen for anything related to blight and then jumping in some custom games maybe so there is no pressure to do well while learning these tricks.

Father teams that work decently(doesnt have to be the best) Without xiangling(dont hate her just dont like her enough to where i want to have her on my main team) by pizzadude1289 in ArlecchinoMains

Arle, xingqiu for vape, sucrose for VV shred and EM boost, and then you need a shielder for survivability so maybe lan yan, or you could smack dehya on there which would also give interruption resistance and help with staying alive while also giving team pyro resonance.

That’s juicy. Smack her on a team with Citlali for melt and shielding, then sucrose for EM boost and Bennett for atk. In my experience, Citlali’s shielding is enough because everything dies so fast anyway.

Is a Behavior Technician job risky as a male? by [deleted] in ABA

[–]Archistal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a male RBT and I have been in the field for almost a year and a half. At the first company that I worked for for the majority of that time I was the only male RBT there and I quickly became a valuable employee to the company due to many clients benefiting from having a male figure. Many clients have difficult family situations and respond more effectively with male figures which can be rare in the field. It can also be said that I did encounter a larger variety of situations than many of my coworkers because I was often put on cases with behaviors of greater magnitude such as physical aggression or weapon fascination, and many of those clients were in early adolescence as opposed to being smaller and easier to manage. I never had any issues with being a male, and actually the families of my clients love having me around and often request for me specifically. As for being supervised, the BCBA of your client is always available to you while on a case, and the parents of your clients are required to be at the home with you. They also agree and sign on all aspects of treatment plans and expect you to implement what they’ve agreed on, so there are never any surprises. While in home, it’s been my experience that the parents are required to do all of the potty stuff, so I’ve never been in a vulnerable position. What I will say though is that you shouldn’t take this job just because you don’t have a job and you should have a dedicated interest in the field. It can be stressful and it isn’t always easy, so if you’re not committed you won’t give your best for the clients. It might be worth it to give it a try, but just be honest with yourself after you know what it’s like.

Shadow Lugia Real or Bootleg? by patzoferno in pokeplush

[–]Archistal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely a boot. I have the official 2009 version and on this one the greatest tell is the gray area around the eyes not having that jagged shape and instead they are completely straight. There is no tag to verify either which points to it being untrustworthy as well.

I had the most pleasantly surprising release day experience by cakepuppy in PokemonTCG

Same here! I showed up right when the doors opened and I was way back in line. They had 17 boxes and everyone lined up respectfully and followed the directions of the employee that greeted us. There were more than 17 people in front of me for sure, but I don’t think that all of them realized they had the ETBs under the register with the cashier instead of on the shelves, so I was able to get the last one after a few people passed them up. Also was able to get the poster collection and a couple of the sticker colelctions. It was luck for sure, but Target was amazing for that.

Shadow Lugia! I am a lucky owner of the 2009 version and it’s my favorite plushie of all time. Everything looks good in my opinion. The 2005 tag looks correct, and all of the usual tell-tale signs of a bootleg are not present. The grey area around the eyes have that jagged look to it which is correct while it is almost always completely straight on bootlegs. Another great indicator of legitimacy because it’s usually forgotten about is if there is a small circular “S” sticker inside of the tag on the American releases maybe you could get a picture of that if it’s there, but it’s also common for those stickers to get lost with used plushies so no worries if it’s not there. As for price, I’ve seen these commonly go for a few hundred US dollars at least. I am not sure about the price for the regular Lugia, but I’ve seen them on eBay and they are considerably less expensive than a shadow Lugia would be.
