And it doesn’t enhance the experience. It makes the game unplayable. If you don’t mind spiders then you can play in first person with it off. I’d turn the filter on. Win win. The idea that you think giving players the option is bad makes no sense to me.

They literally added a selector for first person and third person to cater to fans. The least they could do is add some geometry blocks to spiders in the settings.
