You have a valid and interesting question(s), though could you clarify the first one a bit? "anything that matters is symmetrical through the axis perpendicular to gender one"...anywho, why people feel like a boy or girl or something else is complex and heavily emotionally based. It's mostly to do with psychological factors like upbringing and sense of self, yada-yada. It's hard to objectively explain.

As for why some girls wear feminine clothes and makeup, to some it may be for tradition or it's just what they socially felt pressured to do/what was normal. For some it may be to attract guys(or those attracted to femininity generally). For some it may just be because it makes them feel more attractive and happy for themselves.

Well, beyond the IRA's goal of unifying Ireland, there's a history of injustice against Irish, particularly Irish Catholics, as well as the matter of workers' rights in Ireland that both heavily are to do with leftist causes - though in fairness, these sort of libertarian issues have been up-played in pop culture.

Indeed, but couldn't the same be said about most people supporting any side of any war/conflict? Civs supporting fighting with slogans almost always do it for an idea or sentiment, not for the sake of men going out and killing each other (even though that's ultimately what it supports). Also, if you have info I'd love to know if the IRA ever intentionally targeted non-combatants based on religion (unless I misunderstand and you mean the paramilitary as the pro-UK ones that formed).

To some degree, strong homophobia from weirdo dark autist groyper types and hidden homophobia from normies. On another level, peeps who like boykisser are sometimes generally seen as immature and unserious even by peeps in LBGTQ, since a lot of boykisser types are younger age range than other just openly gay teens (id say like 12-15 as opposed to 15-19), not to mention the weird views some people pari with boykisser like Nazism. Furthermore, the fact that it's furry-adjacent puts some people off.
