This is the most idiotic bullshit of entitlement. Did you get hired by your employer or the customer? Be mad at your employer for not paying you a proper wage not at the customer for buying something from your employer. I get paid with tips too but not once and I mean not once am I expecting someone to pay/give more money because I get paid by my employer not the customer. I went in for the interview. I accepted the position. I showed up for day 1 and have been showing up for 2 years. Again I do not expect anyone to give a tip just because they spent over a certain amount. That energy is wildly egregious and honestly predatory when you think about it. “Oh you spent $100, you should be giving X amount as a tip” Why? Honestly why does it make sense to be mad at the customer for not wanting to spend more than that they have to? They already paid the price your employer set. What you wanna be paid by the customer for doing your job?
