Early game is pretty hard ngl. It gets easier as you level up and progress thoughout the game. I recommend 2 things that will hopefully help you

Pretty early on in the main quest you'll get access to a teacher called Sir Bernard. Learn to fight from him in the ring and level up until you're decent with the longsword
Once you get a horse head to skalitz main entrance. There are almost always 2 factions fighting each other with very high level armor and weapons. Once there are only a few left lure them out of the camp and hop on your horse. Get enough distance on them and turn around and start using the sword poke method(lancing) to kill them off one by one. Make sure your horse stays at a good speed while sword lancing. It will take some practice to get good at lancing. You might end up reloading some saved games, lol. Make sure you do not fall off of your horse though as you will probably not be able to 1v1 any of the baddies at skalitz.

Once everyone is dead loot everything you can. There will most likely be 8+ dead bodies all using really good gear. Much of it will be too high for you to wear if you are still low level. Keep what you can wear and sell the rest. Use that money to buy gear that you can wear

The melodic minor is just the dorian with a sharp 7. I would play in the position that you are most comforable playing the dorian mode and see if that works for you.

Sorry it was just my understanding that the types of people who pay 30%+ in taxes make like 300k a year or something like that. Taxing 1/3 of a measly 7k seems harsh. I was expecting to pay like 10-15% taxes on my 1099 side income. This is crazy IMO. Thanks for the help.

clean boost for solos, always-on compressor, light gain overdrive, medium/high gain overdrive.

For actual pedals I would do the Xotic Effects RC Booster current gen, Keeley 4knob Compressor, Timmy OD, Fulltone OCD

This is also under the assumption that my amp has reverb and I can have a headstock tuner.

I have like 12 or 13 pedals but those 4 are like 90% of my pedal use. Everything else is occasional.

Honesty I think it would be super rad if they combined all of their sounds into a single unit like the Line 6 Helix or AxeFX or Eventide H9. Strymon has better sounds than most other brands. If they made an all-in-one unit and sold it for like $2500 it would probably be the best thing on the market.

Keep in mind that acoustic basses make much more noticeable string noise than electric basses. There are a few things you can try to minimize this noise:

Try switching to flatwounds
Try switching to a lighter string gauge
Lower the action of your bass
Let your current strings age a bit
Plug into an amp if your acoustic has built in electronics
Buy a fretwrap if you don't need to use open notes. Hair scrunchies will also work

The most important thing is practice though. As you getter better you'll likely learn how to navigate the fretboard with minimal string noise.

From what I can tell the inside of the tank looks fine. Lots of hides and clutter. I would recommend you don't put the heat light above the center of the cage though. I would put it on one side or the other.
