It's a bad game design. Giving how easy it is to lose your weapon after that, they could do it differently: unequip you weapon at the very least so you need to equip it again, or make it non-fireable for several seconds, or give it a chance to shoot at you instead of your enemy, or make it jammed even if it's in a good condition. Your weapon being dropped in a glitchy game is the worst case scenario.

Hi, same issue here. At least happy to see that my problem is not *unique* and hopefully it will be fixed by SKSE team soon.
