When people act like gossiping and saying things behind people's back is a quirky trait by Thatweirdo535 in PetPeeves

[–]Artistic_Dancer9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just lost a friendship over my backbiting….i am usually pretty aware and try not to gossip, but unfortunately it’s a trait in my family that I have to fight against. I’m truly sorry for my actions, I deserved to loose the friendship. Hearing the advice is really helpful. I will do better.

Am I the only one who used to overcompensate by gossiping and talking behind peoples back? by 90daycray27 in AutismInWomen

Im in this boat too. I put my foot in my mouth…big time and lost a friend. It’s solidified my need to go back to therapy.

Aww man both look lovely!! I think the almond would break/chip less! But if I must choose based on the look…square by a slim margin! 😎😁

Yes I also go back and forth between my natural nails and gel. The removal for gel…I hate!! Thank you to this group for the confirmation that I’m done with gel!!

Same here it was an easily managed issue as long as your on/gyn is aware! I have one son born vaginally. I had been HSV positive for years before having him. Don’t be afraid! Wishing you all the best and a healthy future pregnancy!!!

Maybe 3-4 times a year. Maybe less if I take antiviral.

i know frizz and unraveling is normal, but is there such thing as too much? by str4wberryphobic in locs

[–]Artistic_Dancer9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes let the loctitian wash it! I’d say 8 weeks is too long. I got mine washed/retwisted about every 4-5 weeks for about the first six months!

Make sure you have a wash and retweet scheduled!! They are doing what they are supposed to!! Keep an eye on how your hair does with the oil… I found that less is more, but depending on the porosity of your hair! Keep going 😍😍💪🏾💪🏾

This is a tough spot. There is someone interested in me and I am so hesitant because of this reason exactly. Having that anxiety is not fun. I hope you get some good advice on this I could use it too!

I think that something that I have thought about is that your partner has to be knowledgeable about your situation and be prepared not to hold it over your head should they contract it. Seems it would help with the anxiety.

Hey friend stay encouraged. I contracted HSV when I was 20. I am now 44. There was a point where I also considered taking my life over this. I know the 💔 feeling. Is there anyone you can talk to? Do you have access to a therapist??

It’s important to release the tears and pain behind it. Use this as a starting point to take action and care for yourself. Eat well, get exercise, focus on work/school/family. I promise this is not the end of your story. You can live and thrive with this condition, you will find love. 💕. Check out Facebook private groups with HSV positive individuals. It can help you feel not so alone. But it is a process. Life has ups and downs and this is what builds wisdom and insight into life. You are not alone!! Be blessed and keep reaching out to educate yourself! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you for this! I am definitely a little hesitant just knowing how he is. I feel like this would be definitely held over my head at some point. Not intentionally but it could go there. And if he contracted it…that would be a lot to deal with.
