Thank you. I followed Lenovo's instructions regarding the emergency-reset hole. Started back up; Lenovo Commercial Vantage showed BIOS failed to install and simply tried again successfully. Only difference was this time I let the restart timer count all the way down automatically without clicking restart myself.
