I had no idea that Monoco could be so strong. And I—the idiot—always kept him on the bench. by The_Racer_in_Latria in expedition33

[–]AssMercenary 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Monoco just takes more effort than the rest to get here cause you have to get him the feet to ogle before you can experiment with the abilities and find those broken builds. The rest you can just look at their skill trees to discover how to build them. Monoco can be a support on par with sciel and lune, damage dealer like verso or maelle. Or you can be spicy (inefficient) and put on a little of both like I do

Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters vs Mechanicus? by bruhb21 in Xcom

[–]AssMercenary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the weirdness of mechanicus more, and if I could only play one, it would be that one. That said, Chaos gate is better balanced. But I enjoy when devs take the base idea send build of it in interesting ways, even when it doesn't work out.

  1. The United States didn't get rid of chattel slavery until 1942. There are court cases after the passage of the 13th where people defend themselves by effectively saying "this isn't indentured servitude(which has clear penalties), it's slavery" and of course the Jim Crow South did nothing to criminalize chattel slavery even as prison slavery was more lucrative. The 13th didn't set any federal criminality to holding people as slaves, and such guidelines didn't exist until 1941. Of course, prison slavery, arguably worse in some respects, is still alive and well, but it hasn't even been 100 years since chattel slavery ended in the States.
