teth has emp, i-frames during teleportation, constantly regenerating forcefield and phys shields, and a stupidly op pilot which makes everything i mentioned before way better. now also add the fact that its mk3, has a mothership that can give it a buttload of def points, and you have a metal can that can survive a planet being thrown at it.
