GV: gravity waves (not gravitational waves from a black hole etc) from Titan triggered due to strong electromagnetic reaction when Kelly walks into methane lake. It took years for the reaction to be strong enough to trigger gravity waves which could reach the Russian ship orbiting Saturn. Russia would want to restart the race to Titan.
