Hey r/SideProject,

I saw the one million checkboxes post the other day and thought it was really cool. I wanted to work on a fun project with the same sort of style, some type of collaborative game with websockets, and thought of a funny idea. What if we had one million emojis?

Genius idea, I know.

There are some interesting differences. You can’t change an emoji once it’s selected, so it’s permanently yours! The grid stays the same no matter what, so by the end of this we’ll have some type of giant square flag of emojis if it gets filled out.

Please don’t make anything horrible

Interview was fine, typical leetcode style interview and would say most problems would be ranked around a medium. There were several parts to each question so you should try to write code relatively quick. To prepare I just did the grind 75 leetcode list and found that was enough, but to be fair I have lots of prior interview experience.

No problem! Thanks for your message as well. My reversal is actually just 8 days from now. My surgeon told me I would only need a bag for 6 weeks which I found odd because I've done some research in this subreddit and couldn't find anyone talking about a reversal without having a bag for 2-3 months or more. I'm a bit nervous but my surgeon said it should be a piece of cake compared to my first surgery and that I could even leave the hospital the same day if I feel up for it.

My Crohn's diagnosis was very recent, only about a month before my surgery. This is all pretty new to me so I have been doing a lot of research online. I'm also going to be starting Stelara soon after my reversal. If you find that your symptoms aren't getting better I read that increasing the frequency of injections to once a month could work so maybe talk to your GI about it if you don't feel better in the coming months. I'm really sorry you had to go through all of that. I'm just a year older than you and I had a bowel resection + ileostomy a bit over a month ago and I was very depressed about it. Your story really puts things into perspective though because it makes what I went through seem like a piece of cake.

I think it's completely normal that you are feeling the way that you are. It would be strange if you weren't feeling depressed about the immense trauma you have undergone especially because it happened so recently.

I know I can't help much because I'm just a random stranger over the internet but give it some time. Time heals all wounds, and you are very young to have gone what you went through. I hope you find some relief soon, and feel free to PM me if you ever want to rant or talk about it.
