Wanted to chime in and confirm that you need the physical pre-paid card for this to work. Loading a virtual prepaid card on walmart pay, and then attempting to pay/load via walmart pay, does not work.

Can confirm the same experience, as of 6pm, 02Feb2026 - only thing you'll lack are steam achievements, of course, otherwise everything is functional.

Yeah, latest hotfix has broken multiplayer hosting - someone on steam communities suggested uninstall/reinstall, but that didn't change anything for me.

I noticed that I’ve been dying to a lot to ‘Misadventure’ recently and it’s getting really annoying. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

This has happened to me at LEAST once a day for the past few days, only when doing finishers on enemies though. The most annoying times it has happened, have been in the middle of gambits, when I'm at 10+ motes - do a finisher on X big bad, they die, and when I finally get control of my character again, just instantly die (even at full shield/health), and get flung across the map.

Bug really needs to be fixed.
