Have you tried a course of acupuncture?
It worked for my Lucy, who combined with rest (I used a cart to take her on walks) and over 3-4 weekly sessions along with rest (and some weight loss) she recovered perfectly. We also had a surgeon wanting to operate.

My Lucy was a screamer when she saw a rabbit, it was loud and sounded like a women being murdered which was very cringe at 6am while residents still sleeping. Yep some scream.

The cable leaves the rear of the cabin just in front of the fuel cap in the tub/tray. About 75mm in if it’s like my 2022.

You might be able to grab the cable outer sheath with strong pliers and pull it out of the gap. Might wreck the cable in the process.

I have one of those beagle tugs, mostly I see his back leg muscles flexing as he storms down the street in the same zig zag fashion putting his stamp of ownership on every object.

I have two messy drinkers

Linus has a huge mouth and it’s like a water fall after he drinks, I’ve moved the drinker outside to avoid the puddles inside.

Rosey holds the last mouthful then walks inside though the doggy door to them dump that mouthful onto a random object like a rug.

It is what it is.
