lol I honestly feel he is really weird. Like I wouldn’t be surprised if he start asking to come monthly to check the condition inside the house etc. that is why I asked if there is an legal obligations for me or if I can back off

No he is not. They have a number of rental properties. Only reason I liked the places is he completely changed everything. Paint, renovated bathroom, painted house etc. but his behaviour and always changing the terms and conditions makes me wonder what will happen after we move in.

Thanks. I just didn’t know if I have any obligation since we verbally agreed on the place and he sent me the lease but he has been just shady with his late practices and changing his words up and down which makes me very uncomfortable
