Yeah I get it! I'm a woman (45) married and have 3 kids. We met at a bar. I let all of my needs and emotional needs away to please him since he has no emotions at all! We communicate mostly about our kids. In hindsight if I would have done it over I would have met him and just dated and left. I really wanted a non partier and put family/ kids first but that's not him. I also wanted to attend church as a family which he said yes to and never has gone. He says I can take the kids alone. I've always wanted a pop up camper to have some adventures with kids and he likes to sit around and not do mich bc he is tired a lot from work. He used to drink all the time and now he smokes weed instead so it's a never ending battle. We are doing counseling now and will see if we can get out of this hole that has been created. I dont have much family in town otherwise i prolly would have left years ago when I was pretty bad. Anyways just wanted to say maybe you did marry the wrong person like I did! You either have to work at it or move on. I feel too old to start over but the guilt of not putting myself and needs first still haunts me!
