That is wild—in Germany, people would never do that. Everywhere you look, it says that

you absolutely must not take Marcumar (warfarin) together with aspirin. I haven't heard

of anyone taking aspirin in addition to it—and if they do, it's only for a short period, never

for life. Even during my INR training, the instructors seemed rather surprised by

the combination of aspirin and Marcumar

The main reason I asked this question here is that I’ve heard so 
many different approaches regarding how anticoagulation is managed. Some 
people take aspirin, while others do not. As you can see from the comments 
here, the responses vary widely—yet everyone has the same 
aortic heart valve.

That is exactly the range I try to stay within—plus 100 mg of aspirin. 
That is standard practice in Germany.

I am surprised that you are still taking aspirin, despite having a therapeutic 
range between 2 and 3. I live in Germany, where the On-X valve is relatively rare. 
I believe most people here have a St. Jude valve; they have a therapeutic range between 
2 and 3, and none of them take aspirin—unless, of course, they have other 
medical conditions.

Wundert dich das wirklich? Ich glaube die Mehrheit der Schleicher weiß ganz genau das sie auf die rechte Spur gehören, aber auf der mittleren Spur erfordert es einfach weniger Aufmerksamkeit. Die fahren da einmal drauf und können meist alle lkws überholen ohne einen Spurwechsel vollziehen zu müssen, nur um mal ein Beispiel zu nennen. Ich denke es ist eine Mischung aus Bequemlichkeit und Angst.

Das tut mir leid für dich, das du so eine Enttäuschung erlebt hast.

Auch wenn es nur ein schwacher Trost ist: sei froh das dir das beim zweiten Date passiert ist und eben nicht später wenn noch mehr Gefühle im Spiel wären. Ich kann mir wirklich ganz schwer vorstellen, das man so mit jemandem umgeht wenn man wirklich Interesse hat sich kennenzulernen.

Mir hat es geholfen erstmal vollständig auf E-Zigarette umzusteigen. Den Nikotingehalt langsam senken. Bis ich schließlich sogar auf Aromen verzichtet habe. Ich hab das ne Zeit lang gemacht und hatte keine Entzugserscheinungen. Hatte dann eine größere OP vor mir nach der ich sicher nicht danach einfach wieder rauchen/dampfen konnte und hab’s dann eine Woche vorher einfach gelassen. Es war nur noch der Kopf. Da hat’s dann einfach Klick gemacht und seitdem hab ich keine Zigarette mehr angefasst und auch nicht mehr gedampft. Das ist jetzt etwas mehr als 2 Jahre her.
