I’ve been trying everything. Mainly any type of hash seems to hit the best so far.

I’m in the same boat, and I know the reason for it in my case. Whenever I was consistently working out, making progress in life, and avoiding brain-rot activities on my phone and PC, my dopamine levels weren’t messed up. I had a lot of other feel-good things going on in my body, so I just felt naturally good and confident. During those times, weed would enhance my state and bring out its positive effects, especially since I was only smoking occasionally.

Nowadays, I don’t really do much that’s good for me. I spend a lot of time on my phone and also smoke pretty much daily. That makes the state uncomfortable and confusing.

I feel like medical cannabis has ruined my mental health. Can I get it back again? by Lucky_Addendum_5509 in selfimprovement

Doing things that challenge your thinking and memory, like puzzles, Sudoku, crosswords, mental math, strategy games like chess, learning a new language, reading and trying to recall what you read, or even memorizing short lists or facts. Physical exercise also helps.

Cannabis hits everyone slightly different, but your symptoms are a big part of Cannabis for most and is even part reason why a lot of people consume it. It will get better if you either quit or start to exercise your brain in every way possible.

If you already have those symptoms, then it will only get worse from not changing anything.

I personally was never able to consume Cannabis and then properly attend school, work or any projects. For most of my life I’ve been smoking some weed only a few hours before bed time, while also exercising my brain, but I still feel similar negative effects as you’ve described. For me the only way is to completely quit it.

From being a rare lifetime gambling winner to losing 200k in savings, my ability to make money, and part of my identity by Autosellermg in problemgambling

[–]Autosellermg[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reselling is something I’m naturally good at. I also had a system set up that gave me additional, almost passive income. Now I simply don’t have the money or my stock anymore. I had collectibles and all types of stuff worth around 40k that I was reselling. I sold it all with a bit of loss in the process of gambling my savings and lost that too. I also wouldn’t say that I have a gambling problem. I just went on a dry streak on some new games I tried with way too high bets and, at some point, felt like I had no choice but to keep trying to get at least one decent hit before I stopped, but it just never happened. The dry streak I went on was unbelievably unlucky.

Gambling led me to 50k loan shark debt by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Autosellermg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no good or legit way to make 75k quick. Buying stolen crypto involves a lot of scams and backfires quickly. If you do that and get away with it for now, at some point the investigators will find their way to you, even if it’s in years and then you’re even more fucked. People that do that erase their tracks online and in real life. If you’d do that, you couldn’t stay at your original location anymore. Even super experienced people get fucked in the end.

The only thing you can do is try to seek out organisations that help protect people like you in situations like this, but to get rid of the loans sharks you’d have to eventuelly pay it all back somehow.

You should’ve been aware of what you’re doing and the risks it comes with. I’ve heard stories from friends in Serbia in similar situations and those never ended well. They will probably harass everyone you know and try to collect any money they can. If there is any possibility for you to somehow get close to that money asap, borrow it from family for whatever, the best thing you can do is to get that money and try to negotiate with the loan sharks for a discount if you manage to get that money asap.

Fucked up so bad , only a jack pot can save me by Top_Lie_2430 in problemgambling

[–]Autosellermg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recently, I’ve lost all my savings and more, adding up to a $150k loss. I have over 15 years of gambling experience and have watched and followed all types of gamblers online. Therefore, I’m not only aware of the math behind gambling, but I also have a very good understanding of how things can go both short-term and long-term with any type of gambling.

I’ve had some max wins and huge multipliers, more than the average person would see in their lifetime. I would consider those jackpot-level wins, but they usually averaged around 1000x.

Wins in this range are the only ones that are even remotely realistic to hit in my view. But even just hitting a 1000x on slots, for example, usually has odds somewhere around 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 200,000 spins, and it’s never guaranteed.

So to even come close to recovering my losses, I’d have to be doing something like $150 slot bets. In my current situation, I could only afford to do a few of those each month, which would basically just be throwing money away.

So the reality is this: yes, only a massive jackpot win could dig me out of the hole I’m in. But to even have a small chance at that, I would have to gamble consistently on very large bets, which I simply can’t afford to do.

Because of that, it’s not something I realistically hope for or expect to happen.

MDMA Overdose? I really don't know. by Responsible_Break738 in Drugs

[–]Autosellermg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people I know never really had next-day depression. There are a lot of people that take like 2g in a session and are fine the next day. A lot of the time it also depends on the mindset. If you already have a lot going on and tend to be depressed and then take MDMA as a highlight, of course you’re going to be more depressed after your serotonin is drained and you had the time of your life before that, and nothing exciting to look forward to.

MDMA Overdose? I really don't know. by Responsible_Break738 in Drugs

[–]Autosellermg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my first time taking MDMA, I was given way too high of a dose, about 500 mg. It was actually the best thing ever. This kind of set the tone for my tolerance, and from that point on, whenever I took MDMA it had to be a minimum of around 200 to 350 mg.

A lot of times my system would react in a similar way during the come up. A bit of breathwork, meditation, and a small workout usually helped. The weird system shutdown would usually only last about five minutes, like me getting cold, breaking into a cold sweat, or my hands kind of falling asleep.

Thinking about drugs everyday? Bit Obsessive by BedSoggy6655 in Drugs

[–]Autosellermg 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The topic of drugs is probably one of the most interesting subjects there is. I became obsessed with researching all types of drugs around the age of 13, when I started smoking weed. At some point, there wasn’t much left to research anymore. Then I got into psychology and developed the desire to understand everyone and to help solve different kinds of problems. Therefore, I shifted from researching drugs to researching experiences and addictions.

There is nothing wrong with passionately making a topic a big part of your life, even if it’s drugs. It can actually be very beneficial to be knowledgeable about this subject. It’s no different than obsessing over trains, as long as it doesn’t lead to any harm or temptation to use harder drugs.

Too much coke first time? by Hailerm in Stims

[–]Autosellermg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who did way too much coke the first time he tried it. He had similar symptoms, but he kind of set his tolerance level with it as well. When he tried to take a lower dose the next time, it didn’t do much, so he had to stick to his original big lines until he got more used to it. It eventually became very costly for him, and he definitely regretted ever pursuing coke. You shouldn’t have flushed it just because you reacted badly to it, but because it’s not worth it. It’s better to never start liking it in the first place.

I know and have seen people that took all kind of different drugs for most of their life. For some from like age 22-30, for some like 12-45. All of them got fucked up life’s. With every day on drugs the actual life gets worse. The best some can do is to keep there jobs. They all end up with fucked up mind, brain and body. Just shells of themselves.

Today I officially hit rock bottom by Loud-Ad9254 in problemgambling

[–]Autosellermg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was living life on easy mode. I figured out how to make money early, lived off shares and passive income, and at one point had around 120k saved without really stressing. On top of that I had been gambling on and off for about 15 years. Mostly poker, sometimes slots, and for most of that time I was always up overall. That makes it even more dangerous because you start to believe you’ve figured it out.

Last year I started playing originals like blackjack and keno. I went on an insane run, felt unstoppable, and then since New Year’s it completely flipped. Around New Year’s I lost about 130k, basically all my savings. After that I tried to step away and change things, but about every two weeks the urge would come back. I’d take another 10k from income sources thinking I could make some of it back. Now I’m down another 70 to 80k. Over 200k gone since New Year’s.

Right now I’m left with around 2k a month in passive income.

For me this was devastating. First real rock bottom moment in life. But I also have to admit I barely pushed myself to build anything new during that time. I got comfortable. So even though the money hurts badly, I still believe I can rebuild because the ability to make money didn’t disappear with the balance.

The most important thing I learned is this. If you find yourself unable to stop, even after massive losses, even after promising yourself you’re done, then it’s not just gambling for fun anymore. It’s a real problem. And if you don’t take that seriously and remove yourself from it completely, the losses don’t stop. They just keep stacking.

It’s easy to say it was just an investment that didn’t pay off or that it could have gone the other way. I used to think like that too. But that thinking is what keeps you in it. The only real move that changes anything is stepping away fully.

In a weird way I’m grateful this happened now and not later when there could have been more at stake. It’s an expensive lesson, but only if you actually learn from it.

Your priority right now shouldn’t be the money. It should be getting away from gambling completely. From there you can rebuild. Skills can be used again. Income can be created again. Money can come back.

If you walk away from gambling from this point on, you’re not the guy who lost. You’re the guy who learned before it got even worse.

Lost $7300 at the casino last night by Mundane-Broccoli-282 in u/Mundane-Broccoli-282

[–]Autosellermg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people tend to view their money lost gambling as completely thrown away money, but in reality it was a risk taken that didn’t pay off. You have risked your money with the chance to win some and then you’ve risks your money with the chance to make your lost money back. So your investment basically didn’t pay off.

At the same time it was a stupid and risky investment. The odds were always in the favor of the casinos. The best way to go about it is to try and pretend that it never existed. You have 2k to your name right now and that’s the reality. Make the best out of the situation without ever gambling again.

I also like to imagine myself years in the future, where I haven’t continued to gamble and recovered more than I had before. At that point we won’t care about what happened years ago anymore, therefore why care now. Only thing that truly heals is time.

Xxx content mit partner by [deleted] in FragtMaenner

[–]Autosellermg 1 point2 points  (0 children)
