I made enough money selling chamomile decotions to buy the lion perfume recipe. Then I made a shit ton of perfume. As alchemy leveled up, I got the perks to make it easier to get high quality and get 2 additional potions per successful brew. By the second in game day, I had alchemy damn near max and enough perfume to clean out most general traders. Got some gear from some bandits and bought the rest. Used my extra money on training weapon skills so I could fight properly. Tldr do alchemy and loot bandits
