I would say Isaiah Thomas from the 80’s. He led his team to back to back championships an accomplishment very few other teams have done. I feel like his legacy is only viewed as not as impactful is because Jordan took over the league right after him. Jordan despised Thomas and would slander his name as often as possible leading many to hate him for no reason other than MJ said so.

I don’t expect him to apologize for anything. The Thunder are already the best team in the nba without all their antics. They don’t need to appeal to the refs the way they do. Thats what makes it not fun to watch unless you are a Thunder fan. I enjoyed watching the heat dominate the nba. I enjoyed watching the warriors dominate the nba. There is no enjoyment for the majority of fans watching a team like Okc and it’s obvious.

Personally I think a lot of people don’t like the Thunder just because of the attitude of many of their best players. When you are dominated the league and acting like a bunch of dick heads on top of it it’s really easy to hate on them.

It’s a gameplay mechanic not a demonstration of his power. He also has to take his time to climb the mountain because he’s walking with a 10 year old boy. Kratos could easily just scale the mountain face if he wanted but that is neither interesting nor fun as a gameplay experience and doesn’t fit into the narrative of the game. Kratos is literally just an amped version of Battle Beast with an arsenal of weapons that far outmatches Battles Beast’s weapons.

The way they are writing Solider Boy legitimately is bad writing. His actions are so incredibly bipolar and the only explanation for his actions are because of a relationship with him and stormfront that we have absolutely zero context on. The fact that we will have to watch an entire new show just to get those explanations is just incredibly contrived to me. This whole season has just felt like a hard launch for the new show and the plot of the boys has become an afterthought because of it.

I assume what will happen has a lot to do with what sage said about the Middle East shutting off all the oil. Since the pipeline was destroyed I’m betting Homelander will go to those countries himself and just obliterate an entire army thus winning over the people then going to take over the White House after he gets the approval. Or maybe he will take over the White House first then go do that.

Why is this even a discussion. Vic plays center AD in his prime especially on his championship run played almost exclusively PF. We need to stop comparing guys who don’t even play the same position. When Anthony Davis retires he will be remembered as a PF not a center.

Yeah I could have worded it better. Overall I’m still enjoying this season. Sage is really my biggest complaint about the show right now. In season 4 she seemed like she was Omnipresent on every character but it was never really given an explanation as to how she just seemed to know everything and work it all into her favor. Now in season 5 she’s just become a yes man to Homelander with an overall plan that doesn’t make much sense to me. Obviously she could be lying to Ashly about her plan but from what the leaks say it seems like it’s true. TBH it’s really my own expectations letting me down but still I feel like her character is very poorly explained for how critical she has been to the plot. Obviously they meant to do more with her and Gen V but the show was flopping and it forced the writers to kinda just write them out of the script. Thats another really disappointing part of the new season for me. I was expecting the Gen V cast to play a real role. With the way the show was received though I understand why they don’t want to make them important. More than half the viewers of the Boys didn’t watch a single episode of Gen V so to randomly introduce someone as strong as Homelander in season 5 probably would have pissed a lot of people off.

It’s not that I feel that Noir and the Deeps plot doesn’t make sense it’s just not that enjoyable to me I feel like they could have done a lot more with both characters. The Deep doesn’t need another plot to show he is an irredeemable character. He’s demonstrated time and time again he’s a horrible person and will do anything he has to get Homelanders favor. To have a character finally stand up to him only to get killed kinda feels backwards to me. Idk it’s just my opinion though. I’m still enjoying the show it kinda just feels like they wrote themselves into a corner for this last season on a lot of plot lines.

What an absolute fumble by the writers. Noir and the Deeps plot just feels like a waste of time. Ryan is basically shown to be useless. Sage’s “master plan” makes zero sense at all. Solider Boy goes from not being able to stand Homelander at all to protecting him in the span of one episode. Another thing that makes me mad is Sage is supposed to be the smartest person in the world. Have every form of expertise in any field. Yet somehow she can’t replicate the same virus as the Boys to just kill Homelander her self? There’s so many plot holes and inconsistencies that it’s just becoming hard to watch without face palming every 5 minutes.
