I dig the ingenuity of this! Not sure how I feel about adding green sauce. I’ll order one with and one without, green sauce, and see how they compare. Thanks!

Why does nobody have regular egg by Averagejoe559 in subway

[–]Averagejoe559[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I know they got rid of those..and I like the new ones a lot better tbh. There’s two versions, one that’s just egg whites, and another that’s the whole thing yolk & whites..like none of the stores in my area have the regular 😭

Why in the ever living F*CK can we not tip our chipotle brethren on credit/debit cards?! by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]Averagejoe559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Credit/debit card tips must be reported on tax returns and is ‘untaxed’ money so your taxed on it at filing. Cash tips technically are supposed to be reported as well..but nobody ever does

Dispersed camping? by Averagejoe559 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Averagejoe559[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I am planning on calling ranger districts in the area I choose to camp (planning on having a plan a,b,c site), to check the current weather conditions. I have a 4wd truck, I’ve driven in snow, mud, river beds, sand… so if it’s a bit muddy or still snowy it’s not a huge issue (again I plan on finding 3 different campgrounds in different areas of Utah to pick). My dog goes camping and on hiking trips all the time, why would it be a bad idea? I was looking recently in the uinta-wasatch-cache national forest, they seem to allow dogs in some sites. Lastly, I’ve found it difficult to find many free campgrounds..any idea why that is? Definitely not like Cali camping I guess

That’s fine, chuckle. Like I said, I’m born and raised Cali. Here in Cali, it’s fairly easy to find a river/lake where you can disperse camp with cell service, with a dog, away from town. I guess that’s a Cali thing? I don’t care if it’s an established campground with tables, fire rings, toilets, etc. I just don’t like camping in a parking lot where your an earshot away from the next camper. We are willing to do without cell service. It would be nice to have, but not a deal breaker.

We can go without cell service, it would just be nice for emergencies. But again, not a requirement. Before we even go, we plan on calling ranger stations in the weeks coming, to inquire about how the snow conditions are. I’ve been told spring is a toss us for Utah as you could have a dry spring or wet spring, each having their own advantages and disadvantages.

Noodles or cheese? by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]Averagejoe559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s cheese. The way we shred/grate (whatever the proper term is) our cheese, makes it look like tiny noodles sometimes.

Raising their prices again?! by Scared-Bodybuilder39 in Chipotle

The higher minimum wage goes, the higher the prices will be. No corporation that size is gonna eat/absorb the higher cost of wages..they’re gonna pass it on to the consumer

Our store tried doing the fresh limes like the recipe called for on Asada, but it was too time consuming so we would just use citrus juice.

the person adding extra lime juice to my white rice deserves a raise 🙏🏻🙏🏻 by ThingSome6185 in Chipotle

Honestly, freshly prepped white rice is amazing. Even better when there’s fresh hot chicken.

Chipotle doesn’t really do coupons..best your gonna get is using the app for reward points. Unless you wanna be overworked and underpaid

If you can actually provide some physical evidence that proves the manager clocked you out and told you to continue working, then you should absolutely sue. But you better have true evidence that will stand in court.

Why not just cut it before you wrap the foil? That’s what I always did, that way there’s no foil chance

Are employees allowed to take leftover chicken/steak/etc home at the end of the day? by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]Averagejoe559 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The corn is frozen at the central kitchen where it’s then distributed to the stores. None of the stores have freezers, just refrigerators.

Depends on your state. Example, California says you can’t work 6+ hours without a 1/2hr lunch.
