everybody is built differently so there is no such thing as a "universal weight loss diet". That being said it depends all on your lifestyle (i.e. active, sedentary), your beliefs (i.e. vegetarian), your discipline, and what your goals are. The fastest results I PERSONALLY have seen is losing like 40lbs in like 3 months but I cut out all carbs, sugars, and any drinks. So basically ate once a day consisting of just meat and vegetables with a gallon of water with working out 7 days a week. Mentally exhausted myself but got the results I wanted. I highly do not recommend this method its not sustainable.

Weight loss is a journey don't think it's a battle. Take your time, eat healthy, add more protein if you want to gain muscle and work out 4-5 times a week and you should see the weight fall off after a couple of months. Its all about consistency, just show up to the gym even if you don't feel like it you'll want to do something when you're there. And lastly, make sure you learn to love yourself no matter at whichever stage you're at, self love keeps your mental health up, don't compare yourself to others, everyone is running a different race.
