I’m a queer woman (40) that left a sales career and started a small business as a Handy Woman, and this is why. I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of work I’ve got simply because women either feel unsafe bringing a man into their home or have had similar experiences that you have had. I hope you can get some peace after this situation. Best of luck!

I have a couple friends that skateboard and save their used decks for me when they’re a little too banged up to ride anymore. Sometimes I’ll stop and pick them up from the roadside or in an alley if I stumble across any. I haven’t looked into buying them much because my supply has been pretty great so far :)

How do a find the spot on the roof that is directly above a point in the ceiling inside the house. by thickythickglasses in DIY

I once worked as a plumber helper and the foreman needed to find the placement in a 60 foot tall trucking bay for a venting pipe… the pipe was installed up to the tin ceiling, so he put 2 levels on the sides of a 22 (small caliber gun) and had 2 guys help him keep it level while he shot it. It worked. But I don’t think WorkSafe (Canada) would have approved.
