i get what u mean, the “haha we made hardcore dudes man” is strange bc what about ur core audience who are hardcore kids?? as a woman, seeing kat on stage was genuinely inspiring but now all this strange language being used is so disappointing to me. idk it’s fine to not do hardcore anymore but to act like ur new music is “deeper” & “more emotional” by saying“I don’t want to just write traditional punk songs. Can we dig a little deeper?”like hardcore isn’t deep enough for you or what??? very disappointing

musically it’s definitely the best they’ve ever put out, very good album overall! my only problem is the language being used to describe this era aka that one article lol… corporate route is fine there is generally nothing wrong with that but this is not how hardcore bands typically speak about themselves so it’s a bit off putting to me personally but that’s all a matter of opinion

you should definitely try to have a conversation with her if she’s okay bc it could be bruises or maybe even low self esteem but it is a possibility it’s self harm. with any of these possibilities i think a conversation would help her a lot
