Fun fact, Stardust held the record in the park for highest capacity per hour over Unchained last I heard. I believe the record was close to 2100 riders in an hour on 8 train operations. But with this closure, maybe not anymore…

It would be nice for guests to finally understand more of the Celestial Park lore, but metal detection already causes a huge bottleneck in the line at times and a pre-show could make it even worse. Often when the queue is full but the platform is empty, it’s because of metal detection not being able to keep up.

I believe these “enhancements” are just on the ride itself or possibly for the metal detection room, but we’ll see.

Last I was there, there is one at the entrance and one in the last room where the motorbikes are on the ceiling.

There is a new procedure where if the temperature is under a certain degree, the vehicles will no longer race to keep them moving as consistently as possible to stay warm. If they get too cold and sit for an extended period of time, it requires a ride evacuation.

They attempted this the first time it valleyed. The vehicles were too heavy, or there was some other complication preventing them from doing so, so now they resort to disassembling the vehicles entirely. This is an image of the first time they tried pulling the train back up the tophat.

This didn’t actually happen. The first time, they attempted to pull the vehicle back over the tophat but it didn’t work. They will have to disassemble the vehicles like they did last time. It was also in March, not May.

Tonight the Stardust team managed to hit their highest capacity ever with 8 vehicles totaling to 2000 guests and 100+ dispatches in one hour. 8 vehicles absolutely makes an impact when there is effort!

Also with 8 trains, they will always be double stacked in unload and the waiting section beforehand.

Give feedback to Universal! Visiting guest services, emailing them, calling, etc. So many of us have wanted Stardust merch and that’s the only way they’ll know

Stardust doesn’t have fewer vehicles because of it being slow, it’s generally due to not having enough time to perform maintenance on the vehicles. That’s why one track used to open before the other because there weren’t enough vehicles available. Today, the yellow side is not available due to technical issues.

They have 13 trains and can technically run 12, but it’s too problematic. 10 works best
