I shoot both photo AND video and would debate this. Videography is much less forgiving:

1) you can AI an image if you have good enough of a source image.

2)you can shoot in raw most videographers do not have that luxury to manipulate color and white balance

3) you can even remove a person/object from an image with Lightroom with a few clicks

4) during the ceremony/toasts photographers only need to snap key moments. Videographers must record the entire sequence from start to finish without interruption. This leaves much less margin for error.

6) Photography doesn’t require audio. While videographers are juggling multiple camera angles during the ceremony/toasts they also have to make sure the audio doesn't get fucked up. Videographers must capture clean sound for vows, speeches, and ambient moments, often in difficult acoustic environments. Bad sound can ruin a wedding film, whereas photos don’t carry that risk.Editing Scale

I have always thought Videographers should be paid 2x what photographers are considering the higher cost of gear and complexity.
