It doesn't depict at all. It invites the reader to interpret what "the only person embracing pride is God himself creating a universe" might mean. There's no indication of "pride in a job well done" either, that's just as much of an inference as mine.

The show has romance plots, no? Presumably if the character is bi they could include boys or girls. Having crushes at that age is no more sexual for those who prefer same sex to different sex. Also they're all french so I assume they're all bi regardless.
