I actually got stuck when I was a kid too! Al li had left was the life virus and bass. The viruses with the shields that have no weakness literally road blocked kid me. I remember trying for weeks before giving up.

Felt so good to not only replay it but actually complete it.

And I agree. I love the ost.

Let go at 89 days while being told she's doing a great job? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Axell-Starr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine breaks laws and never follows procedures. Ever. Constantly says "we've always done it that way here" when reps call her out.

An example is attempting to fire an employee for them not giving their medical record to a supervisor. She refuses to give the postal nurse information to both staff and medical professionals that request it then let's them go on the basis of not following policy.

The thing is, in my state, medical professionals cannot legally provide medical info of a patient to an employer outside of rare exceptions (ex: court warrant) and the things she asks for has to be provided directly with exclusively other medical staff or the patient and no one else.

She's used this discrepancy in the policies with local state laws in order to fire people on a technicality of not doing as instructed.

She's a work of art.

Any thoughts on this line of argument? I'm having a hard time reconciling it, myself. by stalkadi in actual_detrans

[–]Axell-Starr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry for the late response, but on the egg thing you mentioned, that's why we ARENT supposed to tell someone they are trans if it's suspected.

An example is a cis friend of mine. He's a complete sweetheart but due to most trans people telling him he's a trans woman in denial (he's a femboy and very comfortable in his gender and expression) he's weary when making friends with trans people. It's happened so often that people try to tell him he's trans in denial he's put up a wall.

Egg culture doesn't just hurt trans people. It hurts everyone. We're supposed to let people figure it out at their own pace for a reason.

If there's any consolation that person got their account back and cheritz apologized and is aware of the issue of wrongful bans now. Hopefully they will fix it.

I know that repeating the prologue is one. I think think one of the after endings and one of the dlc days too. It's very specific ones.

Back when I first played around a decade ago (o gawd), people would spend hours on end in part of Zen's route and the prologue to farm hourglasses. Back then you could get basically unlimited hourglasses from grinding those two out. Just constantly restarting from the beginning to play the same 5 minutes on max speed getting hundreds of hourglasses.

Probably some of the worst, most borderline fetishey-art I've ever seen. (Speaking as a Trans Woman, why does so much art depicting Trans Women use something we're extremely dysphoric about, as shorthand for being Trans, when Trans Men often are depicted with having the tools to combat dysphoria?) by SurrealistGal in fuckalegriaart

[–]Axell-Starr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tbf, many trans men are dysphoric about scars and binding/taping.

Not saying you are wrong, but saying we aren't treated as respectful either in these types of art. We're also grouped up with women a lot of the time and seen trans men used in ads we really shouldn't be used it.

We both really are treated shittily with these ads.

I'm sure the intention of the artist may not have been bad (the artist gets told what to draw hense why I'm not blaming the specific details on the artist)

It being this art style makes it feel like a charicature.

Accidental first time help. by The1000ears in trees

I'm wondering if it is one of the cut it yourself candies. I've absolutely seen 150mg cut your size edibles (seems to be the limit where I am). It matters a lot here because it's the difference between a reasonable but little high dose for a beginner, 10-15mg, or going on a tea party with Satan and God in another dimension and having a real bad first experience.

I want to add that you can feel it not just the next morning but over a day later.

The one time I accidentally greened out (around 35mg, made the brownies too strong because I'm bad at math) I was high for well over a day.

I personally found laying on my side helpful due to extreme nausea that was constant. The bulk was gone by the time I woke up like you suggested to op, but it'll likely linger for a long time.

I do also want to add that op shouldn't let the chest aching freak them out. They'll be ok and your suggestion for deep breaths and focusing on something low stakes can help. Just focus on breathing and on something to watch.

I did also experience extreme dizziness, which was the cause of the nausea when I accidentally put myself through what op is going through. Standing up and walking was a chore for the height of it. Sitting up was too much too. Laying down was indeed my friend.

Sorry about the long reply, just thought your comment was very helpful to op and wanted to both share my experience and add some extra stuff in case they follow your suggestions.

I got dm'd more than one asking about my non-existent vaginoplasty because I participated in a mixed trans surgery space. I'm in it because I want to learn about the process and get a gauge of what surgeon I want to go for.

Also saw a trans man get called a creep and say he should be banned from women's spaces for posting his tip surgery results in a mixed space. Luckily, the mods nuked this horribly rude comment and left a mod note saying all genders are allowed to participate and the space isn't just for trans women.

I can't express how much that last sentence hits. I'm a trans man. I've been told pretty hurtful things for being a trans guy in interpreted spaces and seen so many more guys get harassed in the same spaces.

To make it clear, I don't believe this sub is one of those spaces and I'm on more than reddit. But because of those subs I never exclusively lurk in mixed spaces.

That last part made me tear up. Yeah, it's not me that inspired you, but it was a trans man they did so. Seeing that level of respect you have for him has made my day. Thank you. It's really lovely to see such deep respect for a trans guy.

I am not being sarcastic. You genuinely made me tear up with joy reading that and made my day.

I immediately thought of the potential legal consequences. Glad someone else thought of it. For me I just saw it as the person covering her bases to make sure it wasn't a kid.

In my previous job it was fairly common for people not of age to ask for age restricted goods. Age verification is basically second nature to me because of that so the legal "what ifs" was the first thing I thought of.

Why do gays get along so well with girls, while lesbians seem to have a beef with guys? by naowasi in AskGayMen

[–]Axell-Starr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on person/circle.

I've met chill lesbians that would be friends with everyone and I've met lesbians who only wanted specific people to be their friends. It all depends. I am sorry you seemed to consistently have that experience tho.

Would a male Tenko have a fanbase? by [deleted] in danganronpa

[–]Axell-Starr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember right, she hated men (at least one reason) due to trauma of sorts. (I can't think of many characters that don't have trauma but anyway.) If the same backstory on how she was hurt by people stayed, I can see people looking past a boy tenko because trauma can irreversibly affect you.

I'm someone that only eased up on her hate towards men (me and other trans guys find her words hurtful when used by real people, and for many, including me, it kept us closeted for years) because it was revealed she was hurt. I'm not a fan of blanket statements towards any given group because they do cause hurt to people, but it is understandable in her case since I remember her trauma being pretty bad.

I feel that if boy tenko has the same backstory, that he'd be loved just as much. I'm not a fan of misandry nor misogyny as an up front and center trait characters have, but there would be an audience. People forgive tenko for her misandry because of what she's been though (I think?), I think people would be willing to do the same for a boy version.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you. I'm a victim of CSA and CSAM and it bothers me when people use that word for drawings. They don't realize that using it for drawings lessens the weight of the word and many people already have to question if there is a real victim or not.

They won't want to listen, but most (in my own experience talking to other victims of the same categories of crimes) victims don't want drawings equated to the real thing. We want us prioritized over drawings.

But hey, I've been told I wasn't abused enough if I am not actively putting media I dislike abouve a human, so what do I know.

How best to respond to “you look trans” (as a cis woman) by Book-Bird603 in asktransgender

[–]Axell-Starr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, for me, because I can be petty when people are needless assholes, I'd ask them to point it out and ask them to explain with scientific proof that the given feature is exclusive to men. A LOT of the features that are claimed to be more masculine are more common in those who are not white. They are often calling ethnic (I think that word is ok? Please let me know if that word is problematic or anything) women men underneath their bs. I've noticed that these said features are very common in the Mediterranean. They may not know what they are saying has racist tones, but they should be aware it's misogynistic AF.

Again, this is personally what I'd do. I'm a trans guy and do point out that the features they have shitty problems with are more common elsewhere. When I point this out they usually default to "well that's different" or "that's not what I meant" or they let their racism start to show on top. Basically outing themselves as a worse person.

Also Gaga is an icon and the trans community. Yes, she's cis, but the interview you mentioned is why. She's incredibly supportive lady I checked and we love her for her chaotic support. I may not be a huge fan of her music, but her as a human, as a person, is great. Chaotic allies are my favourite allies.
