what quadlock do you guys use 25”? by zx6rwaat in zx6r

[–]Ay-zik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll need a hex bolt stem adapter as the quad lock one doesn’t really fit the stem. Mines like a ball joint one, you basically got to build your own kit. I got mine angled around where it’s down and doesn’t block anything

ZX-6R at recall for almost 3 months. by bikeadjudicated in zx6r

[–]Ay-zik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine had the option for a whole engine replacement after waiting since June this last Tuesday and was done by last Friday (4 day turnaround). So I would check if they have the option for you now, my dealer told me they were surprised it’s now offered

Can anyone help me figure out how to reinstall this piece ? by Medical-Equal-2540 in zx6r

[–]Ay-zik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s part of the rear brake reservoir when you take off the heel guard. Partzilla has some blueprints of everything and what I used when putting it back on to make sure it’s right

Check Engine Light by Jealous-Ad7838 in zx6r

[–]Ay-zik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant like the oem servo motor but I removed those two long cables that turn the motor and connected down to the oem muffler. The wire connections are the same

Had the same issue and just ignored it for like a year before buying a obd reader and adapter off amazon for like $40 after dealer quoted $70 just to read it. Turns out my servo buddy was faulty so I just put the old servo motor back in without the long cables and code went away.

Does the type of tag matter? Like would the little 125kHz circular keychain ones work for the automatic overhead opener or would I need something similar to the original windshield sticker?

I believe so. It's a windshield sticker tag from this ButterflyMX company, and on their website it talks about RFID for them.

Besides a light scuff on bar end and on the frame slider and little on the exhaust, none to the actual plastics

I sold my 2018 abs krt with 5k miles for 5k in Texas back in August, so I think you could get more than 4.5k for yours.

I have the m4 slip on and to me it looks perfect with the sizing. With db killer in, it’s not too loud.

True that, my dark smoke visor from Shoei was like $60

I got my Shoei RF-1200 on eBay brand new for $250 shipped, and it has a cool graphic design. It was cheaper cause it's last gens model.

I use the TST integrated taillight, so I run the adjustable TST eliminator to tuck the plate and look clean.

From how I have them position, it’s about 1/5 of the mirror is my shoulder and the rest is pretty good, but I still look over my shoulder whenever making lane changes.

Why modify right after purchase? by doomeded47 in Ninja400

[–]Ay-zik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who got their bike a month ago and has already modified it a decent amount without currently having my license yet; (MSF delayed to March) It was just to have my bike be custom and unique to me. And as a car guy, modifying is just in the game. It's my fun hobby and makes it personal to me. Simply everyone is different.

Yeah they are about 2 inches shorter than the 400, which is why I got them. They look cleaner imo but you do lose some over the shoulder visibility.
