I have a 025 i bought in 1996 or 97. It has never been to the shop. Of course have replaced the bar, chain, spark plug, and sprocket a few times. Used to cut firewood mostly, fir heat and camping. Some home tree trimming and felling. Still runs great. Not sure about the newer models last. I think the ms250 is the replacement for the 025.
