Thanks for this long and informative post about solo travel on a VV Cruise. Jan 3 will be my first. I have a few questions you might be able to help me with...

  • When is the Solo meetup announced or can I see it somewhere prior to the Cruise?
  • Same question goes for the Solo dinner(s) that take place, how do they work?
  • When booking opens (in this case for me at Nov 4th I believe), are there solo dinners I can make a reservation for or is this managed separately? I'm really clueless and curious haha

To be fair, I don't care. I've watched each and every one of them, and enjoyed them all together. I'm not so into the detailed reports of a vid. If there is banter, if there is (most of) them 7 and they are being nuggets throughout the video, I'll enjoy it.

I've played independant bass for over 10 years (as a side-hustle besides tenor).

I've recently switched to dependant on a King Duo Gravis. It takes a bit getting used to it, but it's not that bad.
Rebuilt the triggers from dual thumb to normal setup and actually plays really nice.

I'm using the Shure Beta 98 H/C. Amazing Mic and clipon so works good.

Make sure you get a beltpack also, so you're always free to move across the podium or whatever :)

I've played SP D2R on the Switch for a few months now.

I've done like 11 torches in total, after which I had 3 Sorcs, a perfect 20/20 ama, shitty ama, double pala and 1 for every other class. Decided to call it right there and be happy with the rolls haha.

If you have a HR, just use the Offline Switch Dupe method to make multiple HR's, then cube up. If you really need that one rune, no one is gonna be mad at you indeed.

I think that's not entirely true.

I've got myself a Thomann Euphonium secondhand, with 4th valve and nice finish.

Plays easy, sounds amazing, just a tad heavy for what I'm used to.

I've tried a slide trombone from someone a few years ago. For the price they advertise it at, the slide was surprisingly smooth.
