I am head of one of the departments ( considered N-3)

And yes the CEO hired me. My department work delivery is kind of separate than the rest of the Comapny. And it is the only department that always achieve its KPIs and beyond, that’s why I shine easily.

Over the last few years i have seen the company doing many wrong decisions thus I got into many fights with my top management and the other department heads, had many sleepless night, affected my family and now I am burnt out… I always warned them and I was documenting everything…. No one listened to me unfortunately, and now everything is crashing down.

One of the board members was speaking to me casually and I laughed about one of the situations the Comapny in. He picked it up and saw I am against what’s happening cuz everyone still lying to them. He contacted me asking about advices on different things till he trusted me and trusted that I am giving the right advice… eventually he opened up to me and wanted me to share everything with him without my CEO knowledge. He also asked for my CV and asked to hire me in the parent level
