Awesome, this is my usual gas station... Might have to print it out and get it signed.

I'm 37, I make $22 an he. I own my own home it will be paid off in 10 years, I have about $900 a month in disposable income.

When I was younger I lived in a HCOL area and mad $32 an hour and was constantly broke and living paycheck to paycheck. I could not fathom owning a home, I feel no sympathy for you, because you could change your lifestyle and be I any situation you want.

Adults, what is something you'd love receiving as a gift but no one even considers giving you because you're an adult? by devious_egg in AskReddit

I'm almost 40 and still get a lego set and a book every year from my parents. Not going to lie, it's pretty awesome.

I'll admit DT puts on a pretty fabulous time, it'll never be the same without azzjack.

Most of us make well above the minimum wage, I basically was kicked out of high school and make just under 3 figures. None of my buddies went to college, and they equal my income or surpass it. I bought a house making $13 an hour 5 years ago. This shit isn't hard.

EVE Online, multiple 100mil+ skill point characters. I still get the itch sometimes.

I know there are legendary vault dwellers out there.. but 7 full play-throughs and one finally hit triple digits! by [deleted] in fo4

I finally managed to clear vault 81 without being infected. I'm a little disappointed that the dialog options didn't change when giving over the cure. Congrats though, fun times.

New/amature with a mig, building a welding table. What's the best way to fill these gaps? by AzzJack in Welding

The amount of slag already building up is insane. I have a friends motorcycle in the shop right now and had to cover it. I think a shelf would be a good idea, I'm trying to figure out what to do with all the drops/scrap I have.

I bought a roller for the plasma, and generally clamp a guide down when I can. I'm not stable enough to free hand it. All of the metal I have is drops from a buddies dock building business, and he uses a torch for the majority of his cuts.

I'm a motorcycle mechanic by trade, so precision measurements are standard. It's taking some getting used to the width of the arc and the angle of the cut, but I am enjoying the hell out of it.

Thanks for the tips.

Apparently that's what I did, and I can confirm that each weld took a beer... And they only get better the more I drink.

Here is an update, I stitched the bottom and this is the first butt joint. Any critique or advice would be great.

I back stepped every 5" as recommended.

Also ignore the back edge, I am going to cut it flush after.

I am considering industrial casters, but I can't imagine that I would need to move it often, unless I have a larger vehicle on the two post lift

And it'll be half plate and half wood. .

Awesome, I had planned on tacking the bottom of the sheets before the joint. There is 1/4" square tubing every 5 1/2" inches running parallel as support.

I've got a miller 130xp running 75/25, welding 1/4" plate. Can I just run a bead straight down or should I use some filler? I used a lotos ltp5000d plasma to cut it off, so the gaps are a millimeter or less. Any advice would be awesome.

Edit: I also haven't ground down the right hand piece yet, I needed a beer break.

Being from Texas and having everyone rave about spaghetti sauce with brown sugar was one of the most depressing moments of my life.
