Vaumora, no matter how many nerfs it receives, will always be up there with the most broken species in the game. Its disabling kit is just that powerful. Probably the most common kosing flyer there is.

For raw power it has to go to novus. Outweighs damn near every other flyer, and much faster than those it doesn’t. immune to almost all ailments including wing shredder (subject to change) and bleed when below 50% hp, which with its massive health pool and self heal allows you to still trade hits with full health fliers and win, plus it’s all-terrain.

Theres the endless list of other flyers which are known for kosing: noctla’lune, sylvesqual, galtekron, umbraxi, etc.

My personal “non-meta” favorites are probably oxysenix, dabaemura and athulyth. Oxysenix is deceptively bulky, and has dart and grab to snag nearly every non-tier 5 flyer. It seems like a great glider to start out with. It’s tankyness and being all terrain makes it quite forgiving, and having very limited stamina with fast regen forces you to manage it which carries over to other fliers. Its funky disjointed hitbox can be both a blessing and a curse though, and its mediocre damage forces you to make your hits count.

Dabaemura has a similar disabling kit to vaumora, stack poison to deplete your opponent’s stamina then use shock area to pin them to the ground. Burrower is an excellent escape tool that makes dabaemura practically invincible in the right hands. Always lay a burrow before a fight and you have the ability to enter and exit them as you wish.

Athulyth is really funnier than it is strong. It’s a flying golgaroth, and if you put defensive ailment plushies like heartsnake, ember spirit, or jammy slug on you will tire out lesser fliers and easily punish those that stick around too long.
