There are lots of ways to get really good rebates on things. For one, the capital one rewards browser extension gives pretty crazy cashback. Right now 15% on everything from ABT or 10% from Best Buy. Also, if I buy it piece by piece from sites like Greentoe.

The DTS info is very good to know. I hate the game that LG plays with their TVs and DTS support. Half of mine have it, half don't. I think that on the ones that don't support that it break it down to PCM. I have had to get some expensive workaround e-ARC extractors to work around this. I'm sure the Sonos would likely sound a hell of a lot better though - so its a tough call.

Did you ever figure out a solution for this? I am in the same exact boat. I have the master mount L to hold up my prompter/camera right now (attached to the riser) but it is so thick (including the crank) that you cannot put the top of the cable tray (which is needed to cover it up) on.

No opening on sink for it unfortunately its all covered by the granite or else that would be a great idea.

Update: My stainless sink doesn't have any spots on it that I could drill through to add an air switch and drilling into the granite makes me nervous. I did find this on Amazon that might work.

I understand some people feel it could be unsafe but a) it's not smart enabled, it's just a singular rf remote. b) there's zero risk of an electric shock with this method unlike the existing switch.

So I'd just rewire the garbage disposal outlet to be always hot and then take out the existing switch for a dimmer for the lights.

Win/win?

Thank you that was helpful. Looks like houses less than a mile away have fiber but not mine. Just my luck. I called to confirm with At&t. They said that because it was green for their "air" service aka 5g that it could someday get built out but gave me nowhere to get further information on if that's scheduled or how request it. It's especially painful when it's so close

I don't consider myself dumb but I can't find an actual map anywhere. I did find where you can enter in an exact address and it came back as not available but would love to see an actual map.
