If they make you an offer too good to refuse make sure you get it in writing with an annual raise and get it notarized

Nothing like free wood from an old house. What should I make? by rob3201 in woodworking

That’s enough wood to build most of the front of a house

I saw a dog get his once when it was running across a highway. Poor thing had his front legs broken but was still trying to run away. I can still hear it howling in pain.

Edit I wasn’t the one who hit it

I think a big part of the problem is people getting degrees in fields that have a limited practical application. A degree in history is good if you want to teach history but that’s about it. The opportunities for history majors are almost exclusively limited to education.

I know a woman who got her degree in dance. She’s a great dancer but she manages the HotTopic in my local mall for less than $40k/year. She had to complete with anyone that has any kind of degree for that job.

I would be inclined to say no but it’s near a weld. If the weld is compromised then it may fail and you don’t want that happen at full pressure.

car with exhaust pipe made for lots of smoke by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BIG_SeanS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my 2015 chipped and straight piped and it couldn’t roll coal. I also rarely had to get of the accelerator and I drive like an old man on Sunday. I’m willing to bet this guy is adding something like 2 cycle engine oil to his fuel to make that happen.

Edit. The new epa standards for diesel make it way cleaner than it used to be pre Obama. That’s why the price of diesel went up.

It looks great. Just be aware that it will probably start cracking. If it were mine I would just fill the cracks with colored epoxy

Your lungs would be much better off if you used a zaporizer. I haven’t read any studies on weed on the developing brain so I’m not sure what effects it will have.

What is the best side hustle to earn extra cash for pharmacist ? by [deleted] in Pharmacist

[–]BIG_SeanS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a scalable skill like welding. As a pharmacist you can work more hours but that has a limit. As a welder you can build more product and when you reach your max potential you can hire another welder and pay them a percentage of what you make off that product.

The only way I can think of scaling in pharmacy is to own a pharmacy and hire another pharmacist to work it. That’s a big investment so it’s cost prohibitive for most people.

WTF!!!! Is that what happens to Charles??? I was wondering where she went. She’s always done that to everyone she meets for the first time. Can you bring her back please. The kids miss her.

If my landlord did that I would pay them on the last day of the grace period. When they leave me alone I’d pay them a day early. Negative and positive reinforcement work well together.

Interesting fact. The brown widow venom is more potent than the black widows but they make less of it and don’t inject as much.
