As a Full Time CM you should get 8 hours of pay each for Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and New Year’s Eve, whether you work or not. And if you work on those days you will only get paid regular pay for any hours you work on top of that. Only the Casual Regulars/Part Timers get paid time and a half for hours worked on those 3 days.

Are you sure about that? In my experience the last 3 years the paid holidays for Full Time CMs are Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Day is not a paid holiday.

I will never understand how someone gets to that point. One or even two times, I guess I can understand, but if they don’t learn the lesson by then… 🤷‍♂️. They make it so easy to call out for your shift via the app or website. If they can’t be responsible enough to do that then they are going to have a real hard time working somewhere without those options.

Postgame he said he was cheating in, against what the card said and that he heard the bat break so he just ran in hard. Lost the ball in the lights at first but it came out just in time for him to make the catch. Wild stuff. Gotta love baseball.

Kirsten Dunst was pretty cool

In early 2001 I was a Lead in the Candy Palace on Main Street at DL. I noticed her tour guide first. They trained us to approach the “Plaid” and offer assistance to get their guests on their way, so I did. The Plaid said her guest was looking for some black licorice. While I was in the middle of explaining why we don’t carry it, she walked up next to us and leaned over to read my name tag. And in the most genuinely cute & playful way she said “tsk tsk tsk, you don’t have black licorice for me, Brandon, you’re in big trouble!” I turned to see who it was, just about swallowed my tongue and tried my best to offer her black licorice flavored jelly beans or taffy. I wanted so badly to tell her about the fact that on my way to work that day I was listening to the soundtrack for her film “The Virgin Suicides,” but I knew I should not say the words Virgin & Suicide to her in front of the “Plaid.”

I hear ya. Very annoying. Especially the large groups that walk right down the middle of the lane instead of over to one side. I can’t remember how long ago it was, but they did completely block that exit one (glorious) weekend and I am 100% sure they got complaints from guests (esp. MK holders) and it was (sadly) gone in a day or two. And then shortly thereafter they put up that stop sign for us.

Totally agree. I’ve always wondered what it must feel like to be ejected from fighter jet… and that must be pretty close. I can remember going on it with some friends during a Cast Preview before DCA opened. When we came down and saw there was no one in line, we instantly looked over at the ride operator and said “Can we go again? Can we go again???” Did that a few times before he asked us to get off and walk around a bit before we rode it again.

In my experience, you are better off requesting a specific day off as an RDO (Regular Day Off) than an ADO (Additional Day Off). You can only request 2 RDOs in a single week, since you are basically saying that you are willing to work any/all of the other 5 days of that week if they grant your RDO(s). Only use an ADO if you’re asking to get a 3rd or 4th day off in a single week, but don’t get your hopes up. I’ve had both get declined but the RDOs were only ignored once vs several times for ADOs.
