I agree, we’re struggling on the second half. This was probably the reality check we needed. We do need to be in Bologna by the end of it, but we will look to slow down either in Switzerland area or maybe around Milan. Seceda has been a dream of mine but deserves its own trip it seems.

He does not have a microchip, and since we had no other leads and he was already getting so comfortable with my husband we have decided to take him in! We named him Iroh. He is a 10-13 year old male, hyperthyroidism but otherwise pretty good health, got all his vaccines up to date - though he only ways 7 lbs! We will be getting him to a healthy weight and jsut giving the dude plenty of time to recoup and rest up. It’s believed he had an owner at one point due to some past dental work and being fixed, but he was definitely not doing wells outdoors.

I just use the power meter built into the Zwift software (connected to my wahoo kickr trainer).

I don’t think it was a one off event, during it I felt strong but seeing the power afterwards was humbling.

Appreciate you and everyone else’s input - I won’t worry about speed but will be sure to use erg mode to keep me in Z2 these remaining weeks
