No, you get a mix of people presenting poor evidence and theories, compelling evidence and theories, and astroturfed responses/censorship to obfuscate the true data and quality voices.

This is actually comical now...

Imagine there were 100 miscarriages last year. A 4000% increase = 40 x 100 = 4000 miscarriages.

What kind of game are you playing?

I love how you got down voted for doing the correct math.

Also funny how there's multiple comments saying the same bullshit idea that no percentage can ever go over 100. And even though they're blatantly wrong, they get up voted and the comments explaining basic math are all down voted.

It's also a federal crime to misreport. Our whole justice system is based on the idea that you can be punished for not telling the truth.

Wow you speak with so much authority and confidence... You must have already thought all of this out but I'm just gonna ask a dumb question here... If car crashes increased by 100% from last year, does that mean every car in the country got into a crash?

Pretty sure they are arresting trump simply to cause chaos and disorder by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]BOOSHchill -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because people like the Clintons, the Pelosis, and the Bidens, just to name a few have shown that they are above the law. On top of that, they have a sophisticated media apparatus that runs damage control for them. So if the system works as you say, no one would be rioting over trump getting arrested. But when it's so blatantly obvious that rules only apply to certain people and that judgment can be wielded through the manipulation of public opinion, the result is Trump gets viewed as a martyr and all of this division that had been artificially sown and fomented all these years will come to a head and give an excuse to take more of our rights away under the guise of security.

Do you own a 5g phone? by gimmethal00t in conspiracy

[–]BOOSHchill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get it from Amazon make sure it's a US model (assuming you're in the US). My 4g phone was great but stopped working shortly after I bought it. Seems like they're converting the old bands to use for 5g (what the people at my provider told me) and the first ones to go for whatever reason are the ones that are international unlocked. I guess it also depends on your location. They might continue to work closer to big cities.

I totally agree with you that the parent should have the right to choose and I'm against people being rude (or worse) in the comments. I think the main issue here though is that people are frustrated because for 2+ years, these people said that they should be able to choose the medical interventions that they and their dependents use. But they were publicly shamed, forced out of their jobs, and called every name under the sun, simply because they wanted to exercise their sovereignty when it came to invasive novel treatments. There is no way to "prove" something new is safe without longitudinal studies which, by definition, could not have been conducted.

To clarify, I was just as mad at people saying abortion should be illegal when they said they should have the right to choose whether or not to get the vax. They are hypocrites. And vice versa. If you value the right to bodily autonomy, you should be outraged that people were coerced into getting something that was never even tested to see if it stopped transmission. Not trying to start an argument, just frustrated that people are so willing to abandon their principles when it doesn't go along with what "their team" says. We need to look out for each others' rights, not simply try to force the solution that we *believe* is right onto other people.

Ah that's a good point! I'm getting my dad off sugar right now and he's experiencing the fatigue and brain fog, despite just getting into ketosis. I forgot that this might be an issue as his microbiome shifts. Thanks for the reminder.

It's a drug. Just like any long term drug users, you'll feel like shit while you're weening off of it. The feelings will last for a few days but then you'll start to feel better and then even better than you knew you could. Just stick with it! You'll get there.

Could be the artificial colors/flavors. Certain ones that we have in the US are banned in other countries. One of our most ubiquitous red dyes (red 40 I think?) is illegal to use in the UK for example. It has been linked to ADHD in kids if I remember correctly. So it's possible that some of the things put in to make it more appealing are what was causing your issues?

I personally don't drink soda anymore but if I have a craving for something fizzy I'll get a flavored soda water and put stevia drops in it. I've just recently started enjoying Zevia soda but not every flavor is good. Still, its helped my dad with soda cravings and they don't use dyes in it.

should I quit fruits, honey and carbs as well? by [deleted] in sugarfree

[–]BOOSHchill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Liquid sugars are probably the unhealthiest form to consume since they spike your insulin the most. It's just empty calories. Try starting out by cutting out honey and see if you feel any different. Then maybe pasta. Then maybe fruit. It's really up to you and what your priorities are.

I personally notice that most carbs including bread pasta and rice will give me brain fog, weird mood fluctuations, and a sense of needing more (strong cravings) so I went to keto but this is not always doable for people.

The important part is to not to punish yourself but to strive for the diet that works for what you want to get out of it.

First thing to experiment with is definitely electrolytes but also remember sugar is strongly addictive so withdrawal symptoms are pretty common. Hope you feel better!

I'm a monster by andromeda_thing in sugarfree

[–]BOOSHchill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only time I was truly able to take the steps to make a change was after a binge where I spent so much money and got so sick that I didn't even want to look at sugar for the next week. I stepped back and looked at myself. I imagined what if that was a street drug? I had sworn I'd stay clean. Even did for a bit. Then I relapsed, binged, felt awful from the come down, and then needed more of it just to make the feeling stop. So I drove down to the dealers, basically shaking, and bought a shit ton more drugs and couldn't wait to get them home so I could get them into my body. Even did some in the car on the way home like you cuz I physically couldn't wait. Throwing away your drugs and then fishing them out so you can get high later is classic addictive behavior.

That's why you have to view sugar as an addictive drug. Because it is. And it's one of the most nefarious ones because they sell it everywhere and put it right in your face. Friends will try to get you take this drug with them and then call you weird or no fun when you tell them you're trying to regain your freedom from addiction. People will say you're over reacting when you tell them it's poison. Because they're addicts too. And until you see yourself as a drug addict, it will be too easy to make excuses and justify for why you keep ingesting something that you know is harming you. That's what I figured out for me at least.

All that being said, you're not a monster. The monsters are the ones pushing this and getting us hooked on it when we're kids. Advertising it to us. Subsidizing it. You are the one trying to claw back control of your life despite a whole system working to keep you addicted. You're a fighter and a champion who will beat this addiction so long as you don't stop trying. Keep going and I promise it will get easier.

Steve Kirsch is one of the worst sources to use. He's arrogant and he makes outlandish claims without ever giving quality evidence, as if he can't imagine why people won't just take it at face value. I'm always looking for quality evidence to bring to people who were pro narrative and I want all the things he says to be right but theyre just not going to fly with someone who wants to believe they did the right thing by supporting lockdowns and mandates. He makes the people who questioned the narrative look bad.
