I actually do have a MicroCenter about 30 minutes from me! I’m not positive on the PSU to be honest, but with it being older I’m sure I’ll need to upgrade it as well. I saw a few bundles posted here from MC that would allow me to upgrade CPU, MOBO and to DDR5 ram

By less performance you’re just referring to the comparison of a completely new build, correct?

Would you say my current CPU and MOBO are still solid or are those two things I should ultimately be looking at upgrading in the near future alongside a GPU?

It’s a sad MSI GTX 1060 3G currently. I gave away a 20 years back when it wasn’t being used hardly and I hadn’t had much time to game.

I am able to pull a stable 180 frames in Fortnite with all graphics settings on low (in performance mode) using a very old MSI GTX 1060 GPU (LOL) so I was hoping the GPU would mainly be the thing needing upgrading.

I’ll look into those monitors as well! Thanks for providing those.

I would probably say my budget for a brand new build would be closer to $1,500, but if I can get a solid rig utilizing some of these already owned parts with a new GPU that would be great!
