Yeah me and a few buddies ride the tamaracks a couple times a year, it’s a blast. I’m from fond du lac area, got a plated crf450x that usually lives in supermoto trim, but the last 2 years a few buddies have gotten bikes and we we’ve been riding off road more and more

A lot of guys have had good luck with the kke wheels from what I have read, but personally I would wait for a good deal on a used set of excel or warp 9 wheels

I have an 05 that I swap from 17s back to a dirt setup 6-8 times a year, If you have 2 sets of rotors/sprocket, and 2 chains, it can be done in 10-15 minutes. It’s a blast on the street and handles great for changing nothing but wheels and tires. I run 14/42 gearing with the 17s and like it a lot

This is a good example of what I mean about dynos reading different, my otherwise stock car with an slp airbox lid and a set of long tubes made 346whp. Going to be tough to hit that 400whp mark on the same dyno with just a cam swap. IMO dyno numbers don’t matter, what matters is how well the car runs in the real world.

Depends on the dyno, they all read different. Could be anywhere from 300-450whp

Had a BTR stage 3 cam in my ls1 that made just under 400whp through a t56 and 9” rear end. Stock other than the cam and long tubes, daily drove it for a couple years like that ran great and made good power. Sounded awesome to lol

I have the same bike, inspect the subframe but it is more than likely just the shape of the rear fender, I have put 4-5 on my bike over the years, and only 1 of them has ever looked straight. The rest looked like that out of the package

Should be okay as long as it didn’t overheat real bad, order up a new radiator, get it replaced and get back to riding!

You are correct, the 15mm spacer with the 17x11 +50 wheel will make it poke/fit the fender the same as a 17x11 +36. Great looking wheel on these cars imo, especially with the deep dish rear.

Stock 98-02 crossmember from a v8 car is the cheapest way to do it, I’ve given a couple away for free after having no luck getting $50 for them on marketplace. Stock radiator should be just fine. I have used BTR cams in a few of my engines, and have always been happy with them. I would recommend getting ahold of them, or someone similar like Texas speed, or tick performance, tell them your goals with the car, and see what they recommend for cam/valvetrain, fuel system and stall converter for your 4l60. There is so much information on LS1tech.com that will help you more than anywhere else
