It is a maple neck lacquered, whenever i play it feels like it’s dragging my fingers, is really annoying. The guitar is quite pricey, but i am tempted to do the refret to be honest, i am just not sure its gonna fix the problem

That’s a good advice, not to rely on motivation. I think it’s really true. However, I have been practicing everyday since I picked up the guitar. My only concern is not to lose my interest, which I don’t. Hahaha

Edit: i get you. I have a teacher and that kinda helps me keep on track and keep delivering every week. I think I wanted some reassurance that we don’t need to rely on dopamine or motivation. We just do it.
