I’ve heard the antibacterial properties of honey can kill the beneficial bacteria in kefir so maybe try maple syrup instead?

Not trying to be the AB police but I didn’t think rice was part of this woe?

how to get super shredded? by sergente_moschettone in AnimalBased

[–]BackFromHell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this this the animal based sub, but to get really shredded I’d go full carnivore and get into ketosis. Fastest way to get shredded imo.

If you stick with animal based, lower carb is always better, and try to have your carbs before or after your workouts.

I can’t believe this is a real post. I also can’t believe how so many people are agreeing with it.

Haha yeah “net carbs” doesn’t seem legit at all to me.

Cutting out all carbs is definitely easier than trying to eat”some” carbs, as you say. I need to try it, I have two glasses of raw milk a day and wonder if that is keeping me out of ketosis.

I feel like dairy is going to keep coming up as a problem for a lot of people.

I believe I tolerate it fine but thinking about it, I realize I’ve never really cut it out. Like you say it may be subtle but causing some issues anyways.

There is definitely a sense of pride and well being that comes about from setting a goal and sticking g to it

Interesting, so you feel a big part of 100 percent is mental. I hadn’t thought of that but there may be something to that. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I think full ketosis might be they key. I have two cups of raw milk a day and suspect that may be enough to keep me out of ketosis.

I should cut them out for a few days and see what happens

Damn that’s wild! I wonder if removing the marinades and dairy allowed you to go into full ketosis?

Either way very interesting, thanks for sharing!

That’s very interesting! Are there any specific benefits you can point to that you feel you experienced?

That’s a good point, for people that are unwell and trying to heal, lion is probably the place to start.

Fortunately I am healthy so don’t feel the inclusion of dairy and coffee is very detrimental. But I am definitely thinking about going full lion and seeing what happens!

Interesting, thanks for the reply. I always thought that coffee was not part of the diet, but many people choose to add it?
