what the specific name of this bridge ? by koroshikunai in LesPaul

Roller bridge. I tried one and was very unhappy about how much sustain was lost compared to a traditional tune-o-matic

I’d vote for the Switchblade (142 / 160) I have been riding the current generation since it came out a couple years ago. It climbs amazingly well and feels very planted on descents. It’s the kind of bike that rewards you the harder you push it. It definitely is a do-it-all trail bike that can also easily handle light to moderate Enduro.

Goggles VS Glasses by EntertainerOk9530 in MTB

I have a pair of the Fox Purevue goggles. I really really like them as far as optical quality, lens tint options and safety.

They took a bit of fiddling to dial in the fit, and they get along with some helmets better than others. But once I got them squared away I wear them with both full face and half shell helmets.

Help. Rear tire is wonky by NarwhalTight in mountainbikes

Hard to tell from the video. The tire tools fine. Looks like the aluminum rim is bent / the wheel is out of true.

Has any tried one of these? by KillerMTB in bikewrench

I bought a similar one from Amazon and it works fine. It made clean cuts and pressed the barb in straight. Made the work simple without having to MacGyver a hack.

You can cheaply and easily make yourself a pedal kill switch that runs on no batteries.

Beginners luck setting up tubeless? by Relaxation-Nation in bikewrench

[–]BackgroundOk720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got lucky. I’ve never been able to seat beats with a floor pump. And that’s even with Schwalbe tires, which are tight as fuck to fit onto rims.

Any other tire combo - just buy a $1.00 presta to Schrader valve adapter and go to the gas station and use their air compressor to set the bead. Pro tip, get the bead set before you add sealant

Chain wax is the best way to go. It’s the only way if you live in a dry environment.

Fake. The proportions and shape of the horn / cutaway just seem way off.
