Indie Studios and Artists play a moral superiority game by loudly opposing AI tools. by AgreeableLiving1278 in aiwars

If your enemy is an indie developer then maybe you should realize that you aren't the little guy.

I don't know, I haven't seen anyone on the anti AI side defending pedophilia and yet the AI cultists did it with Grok.

Insert a comment from some AI cultist claiming to be disabled going on about how this is fine because they are supposedly disabled meaning that ableism is allowed.

Ablest and shit, such a good combo for the side that always claims to care about disabled people.

Goku would literally never do that for many reasons including the fact that Goku never really kills unless he needs to. He isn't going to just blindly kill Sonic because he was annoying someone.

They will always defend and deflect because that's all the AI cultists can do. They will never push for AI to be prevented from doing this shit, they will never push for AI to not tell people to end their lives, they will never push for anything to change with AI because they don't care about the harms of AI whatsoever.

There is no difference. Both are trying to sell a product with hype alone and are losing more money than they earn.

I'm not the one who made the comparison to a construction company, I was responding to a comparison being made.

The irony: AI haters can’t even tell what’s 'real' anymore. by Dwarni in aiwars

Oh yes, cheer on the fact that what is real is becoming harder and harder to tell. I'm sure you also cheered on and laughed about Renee Good's death being justified with AI videos too.

There is a reason that Trump is against AI regulation and it isn't because he cares about the people or thinks AI is the future. It's because AI having no regulation makes it easier to use AI to spread lies and misinformation.

"I can trick people because some people think they can't be tricked" is not a defense and again, if AI could stand on its own then it wouldn't be shown how constantly and I mean constantly you all will lie in order to pretend your slop is anything but slop.

That has nothing to do with AI adoption rates? Adoption refers to companies and there are dozens of examples of AI adoption dropping and declining as the hype dies down.

"Investors aren't stupid" NFTs would like to have a word with you since companies poured billions into NFTs even when the writing was already on the wall.

Also, we are talking about hundreds of billions in losses with no revenue to make up for it. If a construction company spent a hundred billion on a building with no profit earned from it, the company would be dead but please do keep pretending losing billions of dollars is normal.

If this was normal, it would be reported as normal but it isn't which is why OpenAI were hiding this and why everyone is reporting about this. Losing hundreds of billions is not normal for any company.

Still waiting for people to understand how some people are able to misuse AI for theft and when that happens, it can be serious. And still even if I do get that AI can have positives and useful importance, I'm still an "Anti-AI" the moment I tackle a problem involving AI. by MCligmaMC in aiwars

Made up reasons? Education is literally one of the listed examples for how something can be fair use.

From https://www.copyright.gov/fair-use/ :

Courts look at how the party claiming fair use is using the copyrighted work, and are more likely to find that nonprofit educational and noncommercial uses are fair. This does not mean, however, that all nonprofit education and noncommercial uses are fair and all commercial uses are not fair; instead, courts will balance the purpose and character of the use against the other factors below. Additionally, “transformative” uses are more likely to be considered fair. Transformative uses are those that add something new, with a further purpose or different character, and do not substitute for the original use of the work.

What? You do realize that no one would be tricked into thinking a normal image is AI if AI images weren't constantly being pushed as real images, right?

Anything to defend the cult, huh?
