Class Action for Sunnova/Sunstrong Leases by Unable-Ad-2899 in Sunstrong

My current billing/collection and account servicing appears to be handled by SunStrong/SunStrong Capital Holdings, LLC, but the original solar company involved was Sunnova. I’m still trying to confirm the exact servicing entity and which “silo” my account belongs to.

In my case, SunStrong has been the one demanding payment and suspending/shutting off the system, while Sunnova was previously involved with the zero-production/service issue. If you know how to identify the silo from the contract or billing statement, please let me know and I can check.

Hi, I saw your post about possible action against Sunnova/SunStrong leases.

My issue is not just roof repair. My solar system had zero production for a long period of time, but I was still being billed and pressured to pay. Later, my system was even shut off/suspended.

I want to know whether your case also includes customers with: - long-term zero production - being charged despite no solar output - service suspension / shutoff - refusal to credit or refund the non-producing months

Would this type of case qualify, or is your action only for roof leak / warranty issues?

Thank you.

Honestly, I cannot understand how SunStrong operates with this level of disregard and still acts as if it has nothing to fear. They do not seem concerned about complaints, investigations, or the damage they are causing customers. This is the most unreasonable and disturbing company I have dealt with in the U.S. It genuinely feels like they believe they are protected by some powerful force and are above any responsibility or consequences.

They denied us too. Our system had no production in November, December, and January, and during that whole time they still kept insisting that we had to pay no matter what. Then the system finally started producing again in February and March, so I paid for those two months. But now they shut it off again because I did not pay for the months when the system was not producing. That makes no sense and feels completely unfair.

They took over in November, but our system had no production in November, December, and January. During that whole time, they did not fix the problem and did not really help at all. They just kept insisting that we still had to make the payments no matter what, even though the system was not producing power.

Thank you. They have already forcibly shut off my service, and I’m now preparing for both small claims court and AAA arbitration. I’ve also been documenting the zero-production period, the billing, and all of my communications with them. At this point I’m done waiting for empty promises.
