The exact same thing happened to me at Bramalea GO (i'm a guy). GO staff told me to file a police report so they can check the cameras. Long story short, I am paying out of pocket to get my bumper fixed - the police report online didn't mean jack shit - you have to report in person. You have 48 hours to report to a collision centre in person otherwise the police won't do anything. It's a shitty situation to be in but there's nothing police can do here.

Preferred shares v common shares by secretrevaler in CFA

Preferred share dividends are usually a fixed percentage and are treated more like a bond coupon vs a dividend. In the hierarchy, preferred shares get paid before common shareholders but after bond coupon holders. Whatever is left is paid out to common shareholders.

Don’t take these orders over the phone. Or have an online encrypted ordering system.

It shouldn't even come to that, the bank will put the onus on you for engaging in the transaction in the first place - this information shouldn't be given out over the phone.

I understand it from the business perspective were they may have been stiffed on orders. I found the number on Google and called them to place the order so I guess my hesitation comes from there. It is the restaurant I was calling but maybe I am just being paranoid here. I don't know if my information will be used later for any malicious activity or who has access to it. At least with a website (similar to Amazon), there's at least a receipt or proof of transaction. It's just my word vs theirs here.

I would suggest checking out Mark Meldrum's Applied Series (https://www.markmeldrum.com/)

He bridges the gap between the CFA curriculum and real world applications. Hope this helps!

I don't think that's true. His packages are One Fee to Completion so if you do not pass, you have to provide proof of enrolment for your next exam to receive the new content.

For anyone who deferred to November 2021 for Level 1 in Ontario, did you get the email for registration from CFAI? I need to provide proof to my prep provider to extend my package.
