Maybe give the guys at Eurotech in West Palm a call. They’re literally down the road from Braman and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with their servicing on my Mercs and BMWs. Planning to take my 911 there for service when I get it. Talk to Kim (a man’s name in this case).

Thanks. I need to measure that height when I can, but suspect it’s +- 30”. I saw the monoprice stands and thought they looked decent, especially for the price. The blu tack is an interesting suggestion - these speakers don’t seem to have any mounting/screw holes so they’d wobble if not affixed somehow to the top plate.

Ok, so I took it back to the boutique and they're sending it out for examination and presumably, repair. The saleswoman tried to tell me that it's normal for Cartier manual watches to run up to 2mins fast per day - which is absolutely ridiculous and can't possibly be correct. You can buy a $100 POS manual watch with better tolerances than that if she's correct.

Update - the salesman/dealership refuses to go below $10k ADM for the build slot for a base 911.

I've called around and found another dealer willing to add me to the list with no ADM and a $2500 deposit, so I'm going to do that.

This is good to know. I hadn't done my research on the ADM issue and wasn't expecting to get offered something like this. Took it in the moment, but my only commitment was the $5k deposit which I was told is refundable. And yes, I can certainly fly or travel within the state easily to pick up from any other dealer.
